Corporate University Infrastructures for Success
(Wednesday December 8th 2011, 11:00am - 12:00pm
(GMT))
The speakers for this event
were:
Terry Pilcher,
BCS Management Services, who has extensive experience in the areas
of change management, business improvement, knowledge management and
benchmarking.
Kenny Ong Chun,
Senior Vice President,
Takaful
IKHLAS, Malaysia, whose
expertise includes group
strategic planning,
talent management,
human resource
management
and training &
development.
Terry introduced the importance
of embedding a best practice management infrastructure in the
organisation structure and administrative systems of a
corporate university. This area of
management is often neglected in the development of the
corporate university. It is important that
as decisions are made regarding the strategic development of the corporate
university programmes and real-time development projects,
that these best practice guidelines and systems are in place in the
organisation at an early stage.
Kenny then
drew on his own experiences to
provide examples of how a company's best
practice administrative infrastructure systems ensure that the best
practices are visible and can be applied -
and possibly how they can also leave opportunities for innovations
in relation to the company's strategic vision and objectives.
