G-ACUA Vector Programmes

What is a Management Vector?

vector defines the direction and magnitude of operational management responses to competition and the threats and opportunities in the business environment.

Developing the management skills and capabilities to determine and implement what that vector should be in different situations and circumstances is the purpose and outcome of the G-ACUA Vector Programme.

G-ACUA Policy and Management Awards

  • G-ACUA is an international management association providing recognition and management awards for achievement in real time personal and organisational development. These awards cover all industry and discipline sectors.

  • A G-ACUA Award in Corporate University Learning-intensive Project Management provides public recognition that a manager has achieved world class standards in carrying-out front-line developmental responsibilities in new learning intensive project management. These awards demonstrate the use of adapted theoretical concepts, practical management innovations, mastery over action learning processes and effective application of the proposed developments to meet the particular demands of local situations and circumstances,

  • Our programmes aim to take careers and organisations forward by giving encouragement, providing inspirational resources and offering professional recognition in all areas of executive action.

  • G-ACUA has developed a progressive recognition framework for its awards regime based upon international standards of performance management in real time integrated personal and organisational development.

  • Reaching out beyond our own dedicated programmes we can by invitation, provide specific customised programme design services for organisations that wish to provide professional career development recognition for employees who are undertaking major new learning intensive development projects. We can also evaluate and validate existing real-time learning initiatives to establish formal career recognition.

The Vector Applied Management Award

The specific G-ACUA award is presented to those Vector Programme Associates who successfully complete this management programme and is that of a:-

  • Master Practitioner in Executive Management

The award is based upon a clear demonstration of applied management learning, a willingness to innovate solutions and leadership that leads to important developmental executive actions. The scope and quality of the Associates' work in their work based circumstances and conditions is central to the award evaluation process.

Quality Assurance

  • The Quality Assurance marking process for this G-ACUA Award is based upon 5 written action learning work-based assignments.

  • A detailed description and comprehensive guidelines for the completion of each of the 5 assignments is provided at the beginning of the learning programme, so that the programme participants can develop a good work plan going forward.

  • Each of the 5 assignments will be assessed individually by the G-ACUA Marking Panel using the following quality parameters:

    • Style, Structure and Presentation

    • Planning and Execution

    • Quality of the Analysis

    • Recommendations for Action

    • Impact Assessment

Assignment Markers, who will be responsible for the assessment and evaluation of the Vector Programme assignments, will be appointed by G-ACUA. Markers will be professional managers who have had extensive practical experience in business and industrial growth and development activities.

  • The participants receive feedback on each of their assignments within 10 days of its presentation, to help in planning and delivering their next assignment.

  • All assignments contribute to the final grade of G-ACUA Award.

  • Curriculum guidance and information on how to choose work-based assignments and link into study resources is detailed in a programme briefing that each participant receives at the beginning of the programme.
